Connecting to Key Influencers to create Brand Awareness
McArthur Skincare enjoys a strong, supportive and positive relationship with bloggers and social media key influencers across multiple channels and countries.
We are always on the lookout to connect with beauty bloggers, who focus on providing honest and unbiased product reviews of skin, hair and therapeutic skincare products. Our blogger out-reach program connects with bloggers globally to build interest and brand awareness for consumers throughout the world, and works to support blogger’s efforts and increase their visibility.
For enquiries, access to PR Samples, or wishing to participate in the McArthur Skincare Blogger Program, please email our Marketing Manager Matt Lynch – email@example.com. We would love to know more about you through access to your media kit and to find out which social media channels you are on so we can connect and share your posts.

Last year we enjoyed engaging and collaborating with a lot of local and international bloggers creating interest around the McArthur Skincare range of products, whilst supporting their creative efforts and enhancing their posts through sharing to our own audience and driving new followers to their own various channels. This year we will be providing the opportunity for selected bloggers to take over our accounts, and working tightly in new forms of collaboration, as well as participating in new product trial focus groups. Important Information for Bloggers
Media Kit & Style Guide
If you wish to access our brand logo, design assets or product photos, these are available through our Style Guide & Media Kit.
We request when collaborating with bloggers to be able to review the intended copy and design elements prior to publication. Please send collaboration material through to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that this is not in any way to influence what is written by bloggers as we wish this to be totally unbiased and your own creative effort and opinion, so you are true to your own audience in reviewing our products. It is however important for us to fact check and confirm any statements made about the products, efficacy and ingredients are correct for consumers.
This is particularly important when writing about any of the Therapeutic products in our range. Bloggers and ourselves, are required to conform to the advertising rules of the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration). Our aim is to assist you with the compliance process, which then assures that we can promote your posts to our own audience.
Disclaimers (Images and Copy)
To comply with advertising standards by the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA), and Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for breach of Australian Consumer Law (ACL), certain disclaimers are required by social media ‘influencers’ covering all social media platforms:
• The blogger needs to disclose to readers that they have received sponsored products from McArthur Skincare. On social media this can be done by using the hashtag #ad as recommended by the AANA, or you can also use alternative hashtags such as #sponsored or #spon. In blogs this can be done by including a statement such as;
Although this post is sponsored by McArthur Skincare, all opinions are my own. #ad
Therapeutic Specific Disclaimers (Images and Copy)
For our Therapeutics products, certain disclaimers are required:
• Any time a therapeutic product is mentioned in copy or shown in an image, the following statement needs to be included with the copy AND on the image:
Always read the label. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist see your healthcare professional.
• We must not ‘over-state’ the ability of the product’s efficacy. We actually receive thousands of testimonials from customers expressing how amazed they are at the benefits achieved from our creams, along with even photographic before and after photos. Likewise, we had many bloggers last year writing some truly wonderful things about the results that they achieved from using our products. Unfortunately, as part of TGA compliance we are required to ‘water down’ some of the very positive statements about our therapeutic products even though these statements come direct from our customers. We must not use language such as ‘miraculous’. Nor can we show images of ‘extreme cases’ of a skin condition.
• When naming and describing the product, certain active ingredients need to be listed as well as their intended use, and the traditional use statement included as per the following five product descriptors:
McArthur Skincare Arthritis Cream – Contains the active natural ingredients Aloe Vera, and Arnica which is traditionally used in herbal medicine for the relief of mild arthritis.
McArthur Skincare Eczema Cream – Contains the active natural ingredients Chamomile, and Chickweed which is traditionally used in herbal medicine for the relief of mild itchy, irritated and inflamed skin associated with eczema.
McArthur Skincare Psoriasis, Dermatitis and Rashes Cream – Contains the active natural ingredients Aloe Vera, and Chickweed which is traditionally used in herbal medicine for the relief of mild itchy, irritated and dry skin associated with psoriasis, dermatitis and rashes.
McArthur Skincare Muscle Aches & Pain Cream – Contains the active natural ingredients Aloe Vera, and Arnica which is traditionally used in herbal medicine for the relief of mild pain in muscles and joints.
McArthur Skincare Wounds & Burns Cream – Contains the active natural ingredient Aloe Vera traditionally used in herbal medicine in the healing of minor wounds, burns and sunburn.
